Full North Kings GSA project list available

At the June North Kings GSA meeting, the Board approved an updated project list which includes 35 new projects and six projects that have been completed since the Groundwater Sustainability Plan was adopted.

The project list includes descriptions of each project and how they will each benefit the region, what research or data led to these conclusions, when the projects began and are set to be completed, the names of the agencies implementing the projects, and cost estimates. Each entity within the NKGSA has committed to mitigating for the groundwater impacts within their boundaries. The identified projects are expected to correct for the groundwater pumping within their respective boundaries.

The North Kings GSA plans to solicit for projects from member agencies annually to ensure the project list is an accurate reflection of the agency planned projects.
