North Kings GSA Board of Directors approves updated project list

The North Kings GSA Board of Directors approved the updated North Kings GSA project list at the August 2023 Board meeting.

Each year, the North Kings GSA issues a solicitation to its member agencies encouraging them to identify additional projects for placement on the list that contribute to meeting their groundwater overdraft mitigation targets.

During this year’s call for projects, which took place from May 12 to June 2, four new basin projects were submitted: three by the Fresno Irrigation District and one by the City of Clovis.

At the June Advisory Committee meeting, the Committee reviewed each item on the project list to verify and update deadlines and timeframes.

The project list was updated in August 2023 to include the four new projects as well as revisions to previously identified projects, such as the revised completion timeline for the Biola Community Services District Recharge Project.

The project list is posted on the North Kings GSA website and will continue to be updated annually. As a living document, the project list reflects the ongoing actions being taken within the North Kings GSA to reach our mitigation goals and achieve sustainability. View the updated project list here.
