Well owners invited to August well registration workshop for support with registration process

Well owners are invited to attend the upcoming North Kings GSA well registration workshop, taking place on August 27 from 3PM – 6PM at the Kerman Community Center. This event is a chance to ask questions and receive one-on-one support with the registration process.

To reserve your spot at the workshop, RSVP here. Well owners are encouraged to drop-in anytime during the workshop.

Since the well registration policy went into effect on May 1, 2025, nearly 500 wells have been registered, reflecting North Kings GSA’s commitment to sustainable groundwater management.

Well owners have until November 30, 2025, to register their wells. Wells not registered by the deadline are subject to a $100 late fee per well.

Understanding where wells are at within the GSA supports ongoing groundwater studies required by the state, which helps the GSA manage groundwater both now and in the future.

To support the registration process, North Kings GSA has established a support team available by phone, video, and email to help guide users through the online registration process. The support team will also be available for one-on-one support at the August 27th well registration workshop.

By registering your well, you help protect local management over our groundwater, provide the data needed for groundwater sustainability and protect access to water now and for future generations. Register your well on Subcurrent here. For help from our support team, call 559-693-5119 or email wells@northkingsgsa.org
