Well Registration Update: Strong Participation as the Deadline Nears

North Kings GSA is making progress with its comprehensive well registration program, an initiative crucial for effective groundwater management. At the time of the Board meeting on November 6, it was reported that there were about 2,500 wells registered. That number has grown significantly.  At the time of this posting on November 24, over 4,500 wells are registered including more than 2,100 domestic wells and 1,600 agricultural wells.

This strong participation ensures that the GSA is building the most complete data set possible for responsible local groundwater planning and for responding effectively to challenges such as droughts.

North Kings GSA thanks every well owner who has already participated. Your involvement directly strengthens our region’s resilience and maintains good standing with the State to continue managing groundwater locally.

Last Day to Receive Registration Support is November 26

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the last day to receive support with well registration is Wednesday, November 26. Well owners can complete registration on their own until the deadline on Sunday, November 30. North Kings GSA encourages well owners not to wait to receive support to complete their registration. Due to high call volumes, our well registration support line is currently very busy. Our team is working hard to assist each caller, and we will return all calls as soon as possible.
